Back then it was quite rare that couples asked for unique concepts for their engagement sessions. With so many ideas already used by other couples in the past, more and more people are coming up with cool concepts. What’s even more rare is people shooting at a mall for their engagement session.

For Edwin and Janice, we did just that! When we talked to them through the course of preparing for the session, we asked them for an activity that they had in common. It took them a while since they said they were quite the opposite of one another. After a while, they had a bright idea and told us that they both loved to watch movies. Our first reaction to ourselves was “Ok, that’s going to involve some permits,” but we told them that we’ll do our best to find a way to make it possible.

We researched and asked our fellow suppliers for some ideas, and guess what – the answer was just close to home!

Edwin and Janice Save the Date

Alabang Town Center allowed the use of their cinemas as long as the shoot was before the opening of the mall. After a few quick discussions with the admin and staff, Edwin and Janice’s engagement session at a movie theater was becoming more of a reality. The schedule proved to be a bit of a concern since Alabang Town Center only issued permits for engagement sessions or pre-nuptial shoots during weekdays.

Fortunately, the couple already planned to take a day off to make their own preparations for their wedding. Once we settled on a date and time (Whoah! We had to start at around 6AM! So early even for us. Haha!), it was final – we were going to shoot inside the movie theater of ATC. We were even more surprised when we checked the permit and they had allowed us to take pictures anywhere within the premises of the mall! Alabang Town Center just became more awesome!

Let’s start off with some of our favorite photos during the engagement session.
