Chard and Beth’s Wedding – Reflections of Love

May 30, 2015 was one of those days when the weather was just right, and the skies were with clumps of clouds – just the right setting for a beautiful wedding. And that was exactly what was set for Chard and Beth in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

We met Beth at the Themes & Motifs Wedding Expo 2014, and we really looked forward to capturing lovely moments. She just had one request for their wedding photos, and it was to capture moments in a candid and creative manner, and let things happen as they would. It was exactly how we worked since we believe that wedding day moments are meant to be captured in their rawest form.

Fast forward to a few months before their wedding, we were able to meet Ric/Chard/Richard. Yes, he had a lot of nicknames. Haha! Since they opted not to have an engagement session or prenup, we weren’t able to show them how we would ask them to pose for portraits nor have some bonding moments with them before the wedding day.

But, that didn’t stop them nor us from enjoying their wedding day experience together. Vivere Hotel was the first stop for their wedding preparations, and we had a great time taking photos and mingling with Chard, Beth, and their family and friends who were at the hotel, especially Beth’s super-cool Maid of Honor, Cam-B. There were a few hiccups along the way in terms of some suppliers, but they weren’t enough to ruin the mood of either of the couple. Once we were able to capture all the necessary portraits and had our fill of candid shots, the wedding scene shifted to the next venue for the ceremony and the wedding reception. As a wedding photographer, we try our best to capture all the necessary portraits within the schedule allotted, and just hope that nothing causes any delay.

And Fernbrook Gardens along Daang Reyna, Las Pinas was the next venue. If we had our fill of candid moments during the preparations, we were overflowing with them by the end of the reception. Usually we’re able to catch a lot of people shedding tears, and some smiling during the ceremony, but Chard and Beth’s guests were all smiles, and some would even giggle and laugh during the priest’s sermon and message for the couple. It was truly a fun wedding with a lot of beautiful moments! And, we also took time to get our creative post-ceremony shots done too!

The reception was no different. And, there were a lot of kids playing and mingling with the couple too! We LOVE kids, and they really do add a lot of moments to a wedding. From parents playing with their children to guests enjoying time with one another, we had our fill of great moments captured on camera for the couple to enjoy for a lifetime. And, we put as much of those moments for all their guests to enjoy on our onsite photo slideshow.

Many of their close friends and relatives stayed up to the end, and that really says something about the people that Chard and Beth invited – classy, caring, and very supportive of the couple. And they were able to enjoy this onsite photo slideshow that we prepared for everyone, especially our dear couple.

Thank you again for all the trust, Chard and Beth. Congratulations again, and best wishes on your journey with a happy family!
